Don’t forget about second breakfast! Celebrate the newest Magic set, Magic the Gathering: The Hobbit! We’ll be hosting four prerelease events on the following dates:
Friday, August 7th at 6:30 pm
Saturday, August 8th at 12 pm
Saturday, August 8th at 6 pm
Sunday, August 9th at 12 pm - TWO HEADED GIANT!
Each event will be sealed-format with three Swiss rounds. Players will use the contents of their prerelease kit + lands from the store to create 40+ card decks. Two-headed giant on Sunday is a team event. Two players will form a “team” and play their decks against another team with a combined life total and shared turn steps. Please note the price for two-headed giant is per team aka 2 players!
Prize payout is pack-per-win plus door prizes every round. In addition, we provide pizza (for the evening events) and bagels (for the midday events), coffee/tea, and a soft drink for each event. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please let us know so we may accommodate you!
