Celebrate the World Championships from the comfort of your favorite LGS!
We’ll be hosting a special Pokemon TCG World Championship Celebration Tournament to celebrate our trainers on Sunday, August 23rd at 2 pm. Entry is $8, POP! ID required. Deck lists are also required. Players may either bring a physical deck list, or email it to us at 3rduniverse@gmail.com. Players will receive a Play! Pack for entry, plus pack-per-person in the prize pool (set TBD) divided among top players in each age division. Players who play for the entire tournament will receive a special Worlds-stamped Pikachu promo, and the winner in each age division will additionally earn a special “WINNER” stamped Pikachu promo, World Championship-branded deck box, and World Championship-branded sleeves!

This event has a $5.00 entry that goes directly to your store credit to be used however you like in-store!
Join 3rd Universe for a special prerelease event weekend for Pokemon’s newest set, Mega Evolution: Pitch Black! We’ll be hosting multiple prereleases during the weekend and beyond:
Saturday, July 4th at 10:00 am (capped at 20 participants)
Sunday, July 5th at 10 am (capped at 20 participants)
Thursday, July 9th at 6:30 pm (capped at 20 participants)
Saturday, July 11th at 2 pm (capped at 20 participants)

The prerelease event will be sealed format. Each player will receive a prerelease kit and sufficient energy cards to create 40-card decks. Players will then battle in three Swiss rounds, Best-of-One matches. All players who complete all 3 rounds will receive three packs at the end of the event for participation; Plus, top players will receive extra packs.
Snacks, coffee/tea, and a soft drink will be provided for all players. Please let us know in advance if you have an allergy or dietary restriction so we may accommodate you!

No Championship Point-earning events this summer? No problem! Mid-Year Celebration events are the perfect way to take it easy while still staying sharp as the Pokémon Championship Series takes a break from June 15, 2026, to August 31, 2026.
We’ll be hosting a special Pokemon TCG Mid-Year Tournament to celebrate our trainers on Sunday, July 12th at 2 pm. Entry is $8, POP! ID required. Players will receive a Play! Pack for entry, plus pack-per-person in the prize pool (set TBD) divided among top players in each age division. The winner in each age division will win a super sweet playmat featuring Chikorita, Totodile, and Tepig!
